We came to the market just for this pizza and we were absolutely not disappointed. We've tasted 9 different types of pizza. All of them were amazing. Perfect dough crust, unique flavour combinations and local ingredients makes it fantastic. Must try while visiting Rome.
The best pizza in Rome! We came here two times because we wanted to try all kind of pizza as there was too many of them. Super friendly owner will tell you everything about ingredients. They make pizza nonstop as there always a lot of customers, so you always get freshly done, right from the oven delicious pizza! Highly recommend this place!
I found this place online, and it was our first stop in Rome, and what a beginning of the trip. It was our favorite pizza al taglio place, not only because of the pizza that it was amazing and homemade, you could feel the love, specially the margarita, the Nutella one, and the one with onions, olives and tomato cherry. Wow. No idea. And above all to mention Andrea’s attention, it was the perfect start of our trip. Will come back for suuuure
Don't come too early, around 11am onwards as they need time to cook. We tried 5 types and I personally love the anchovies with cheese. Dough goes tru 100hrs leavening process. You order by weight, so the pizza size is up to u. Must try if u r in Rome!
Best pizza we have ever had. It was worth travelling to the food market just for this place… We are vegetarian and tried about five different ones, including the marinara (addictive), blue cheese grape and walnut, aubergine and olive and the sesame bread. HIGHLY recommended!

Best pizza in rome. In the middle of the testaccio market you will get lured by the freshest smell of pizza dough. Family-run pizza stand with incredibly fresh ingredients that are locally sourced mostly. Frequented by locals mostly. Every topping on every slice tastes magnificent. Isotta the owner runs the business with a lot of dedication. The crusty and thick dough deserves special attention, as it lays for at least 48 hours, killing off the yeast. That's why you will still feel light after eating many slices, which I can highly recommend. Absolut bargain.
Really delicious. So glad we stumbled on this market outside the city center. There was a pretty long line. English is not my companion's first language so he didn't realize he had to take a number to be served and ended up waiting twice as long. But he thought it was worth the wait. The bianca pizza was my favorite. The red one with olives was a close second.
Amazing pizzas with loads of variety and the service is impeccable! Taking the time to explain the ingredients and make jokes despite the long queue. A must when in Rome.
